18th Celebration of Science benefit event raises more than $218 000 for the Science Centre Foundation

Montreal, February 22, 2019 – A successful fundraising event was held in town on Thursday evening at the Montréal Science Centre. The 18th annual Celebration of Science, hosted by Edith Cochrane, gathered more than 300 guests who came to support the educational mission of the second largest institution of its kind in Canada.

Pointe-du-Moulin and Silo 5 on the way to becoming an emblematic project for Montréal

Montréal, February 1, 2019 - The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Tourism, Official Languages and la Francophonie, on behalf of the Honourable Carla Qualtrough, Minister of Public Services and Procurement and Accessibility, and Minister responsible for Canada Lands Company and the Old Port of Montréal Corporation, today announced the launch of a request for proposals process to revitalize the Pointe-du-Moulin and Silo 5 sector and transform it into an emblematic project for the city.
