World Triathlon Montréal
June 23 to 26, 2022

Come cheer on local and international athletes! The World Triathlon Championship Series is an elite sporting event and the most important international triathlon competition Québec has ever hosted featuring athletes from around the world. An exceptional edition you just won’t want to miss! It all happens at Clock Tower Quay at the Old Port of Montréal!

  1. Canada Day
    July 1, 2

This July 1st, come celebrate and catch a great wave of Canada Day energy coming at you from the main stage at the Old Port of Montréal! This year’s Canada Day show will feature lots of percussions and all kinds of musical styles including Samian, Marc Dupré, Mateo, Naomi, Joseph Edgar, and Annie Villeneuve.

Starting at 1pm, joins us for a gun salute ceremony by the Canadian Armed Forces, followed by activities hosted by Parks Canada, and the traditional sharing of the Canada Day cake. After a festive day of fun, the skies will light up with a fireworks show starting at 10pm.

Daytime activities take place at Clock Tower Quay and evening activities will be happening at Carré Saint-Pierre (located between the Saint-Pierre entrance and Alexandra Quay).

  1. The Grand PoutineFest
    July 13 to 31

The Grand PoutineFest will be stopping at Clock Tower Quay in the Old Port! Wander around and choose from up to twenty different poutine styles that all feature delicious fries, sauce and that great squeaky cheese. And the kids can enjoy bouncy castles and carnival games too! Entry is free and 50 cents from every purchase will be donated to the Opération Enfant Soleil foundation.

  1. Fantasia Film Festival
    July 14 to August 3

Join us for the 26th edition of the Fantasia Film Festival! The event makes a big comeback with shows in a number of theatres and showrooms. Don’t miss out on a fantastic line up of screenings, panels, workshops and events. The full festival program will be announced soon.

    August 5 to 7

First Fridays is Canada’s largest food truck festival combined with the largest pop-up terrace in town, both making their appearance at the Old Port on the first weekend of August. This great gathering will include food trucks and other cuisine alongside music and activities that the whole family can enjoy. The festivities begin Friday, August 5 and run until Sunday, August 7 from 4pm to 9:30pm at Clock Tower Quay.

    June 29 to September 6

Cinéma sous les étoiles is back for its 13th edition! Outdoors movie screenings in various parks across the Montréal region and in the Laurentides too. Over 40 films will be featured that explore all sorts of topical issues, political, social and environmental.

    August 18 to 21

Join us at Clock Tower Quay at the Old Port for a dazzling festival of fusion and spectacular shows featuring cultures from Europe, Africa and China. With a great series of free workshops, kiosks, presentations, exhibitions, and activities for children and adults (yes, all free!), Orientalys is all about Montréal’s multicultural roots and celebrates the coming together of Eastern and Western cultures.

    August 25 to 28

The AfroMonde festival is unique in its kind and rallies communities from all parts of the world to celebrate Africa and the Caribbean. Programming includes musical performances, song, dance, humour, storytelling, visual arts, cuisine and more! Come take part in this cultural happening at Clock Tower Quay at the Old Port.
