THE SCIENCE CENTRE IS CELEBRATING ITS 20th ANNIVERSARY WITH EXPERIMENTS AND MOVIES TO ENJOY AT HOME

On the morning of May 1, 2000, the Science Centre (then called Centre ISci) opened its doors in the Old Port of Montréal. Its exhibits introduced visitors to science via a novel interactive approach that would become the Centre's trademark.

THE SCIENCE CENTRE IS OFFERING ACTIVITIES THAT YOU CAN DO AT HOME

Montreal, March 26 2020 – During this period of social distancing, the Science Centre may not be accessible, but science always is. Because science has never been more important, and because parents and children need stimulating, fun activities, the Science Centre team will be offering experiments and games over the next few weeks.

More than $215 382 for the Science Centre Foundation

Montréal, February 21, 2020 – More than $ 215 382 was raised Thursday evening at the 19th Celebration of Science. The funds will be used to renew the Clic! exhibition, a science exploration zone for children aged 4 to 7, as well as offering free access to over a hundred disadvantaged families.

FREE ACCESS TO THE SCIENCE CENTRE FOR GIRLS 17 AND UNDER

Montréal, February 4, 2020 - As part of the UN International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the Science Centre is offering free admission to all its exhibitions for girls 17 and under on February 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
