Montreal, February 23, 2018 - Last night was the 17th annual Celebration of Science gala at the Montreal Science Centre. Over 350 guests gathered to support the centre’s educational mission. More than $295 000 was raised during the evening and these funds will go towards among other things, the renewal of permanent exhibitions and providing free admission to disadvantaged families.

Canada Lands Company took the opportunity to announce that it would double this amount, taking the total of the evening to $590 000, and all funds raised in 2018 up to a maximum of $1.5 million.

This contribution will support the efforts of the Foundation and the Science Centre in delivering world-class programs to all of our visitors”, said Jocelyne Houle, Foundation Trustee and member of the Board of Directors.
