Development opportunities - The Old Port of Montréal

The Old Port of Montréal

Located between Old Montreal and the St. Lawrence River over a stretch of 2.5-kilometres, the Old Port is a recreational tourism site, and a must-see meeting place for Montrealers and tourists, who are more than six million annually to come here to enjoy the hundreds or so events, attractions, restaurants, and shops.

Description of the opportunity

The Old Port of Montréal Corporation wishes to explore possible future development of its piers through possible commercial projects that complement the site's main attractions and that will contribute to the site's sustainability and dynamic offerings in all seasons. The development projects must show how they will enhance the Old Port's status as must-see place in Montréal, Québec and Canada for decades to come.

The Old Port is seeking to explore development proposals that will contribute in one or more of the following sectors of activity: sports and recreation, entertainment, education, and/or tourism attractions.
