A commemorative ceremony to honor Canadian sailors!
The Last Post Fund will hold its annual commemorative ceremony in honor of Canadian sailors, Merchant navy allies who died at sea during the last wars, at 10h00 am on Saturday, May 25, 2024, near the Clock tower in the Old Port of Montreal. This ceremony, which lasts approximately one hour, consists of a special address by the guest of honor, a prayer recited by a chaplain, a salute by the guard in honor of the deceased sailors of the Royal Canadian Navy, the Allied Forces and the Merchant Navy, and the throwing of a wreath into the river.
