What are the parking rates?

Parking is charged at a fixed rate payable upon exit, calculated based on the length of your stay: $35 for 0 to 3 hours, $40 for 3 to 6 hours, $45 for 6 to 9 hours, $50 for 9 to 12 hours and $70 for 12 to 24 hours. An event rate of $45 and a bus rate of $50 also apply.

Parking at the Old Port of Montréal: Access and Transportation

Getting to Montréal's Old Port is easy. Whether you're traveling by car, public transit, bike, or even by water, there are plenty of options available to help you make the best of your visit.

2026 UCI WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

From September 19 to 22, some streets around the Old Port will be closed due to the 2026 UCI Road World Championships.
Good news: the Old Port’s attractions, restaurants, shops, and public spaces will remain open and accessible.

🚗 By car

The Quai de l’Horloge parking lot remains accessible at all times via the Berri entrance.
The Quai King Edward parking lot is accessible from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. (via the St-Laurent Boulevard).

🚶 On foot or by public transit

The entrance to the Quai de l’Horloge remains accessible at all times.
Pedestrian crossings and walkways will provide access to the site during the event.

The Old Port of Montréal runs from the Clock Tower Pier to the Écluses sector along De La Commune Street.

Located in the heart of Old Montréal, the Old Port offers two paid parking lots directly on site, open 24 hours a day and located right near the river and all activities.

There are several parking options available on-site to ensure a stress-free arrival and convenient parking near all the activities.

The Old Port’s two parking lots are located in the historic district of Old Montréal, along de la Commune Street, just steps from the river and the Clock Tower:

Clock Tower Pier parking lot (Commune West / St-Laurent)
King-Edward Pier parking lot (Commune Est / Berri)

The King-Edward Quay parking lot is accessed via de la Commune Street East, at the corner of Saint-Laurent Boulevard, while the Clock Tower Quay parking lot is accessible via de la Commune Street West, near Berri Street. No reservation is required: simply enter and take your ticket directly at the entrance terminal.

Fixed rates, payables upon exit, taxes included

Parking at the Old Port is charged at a fixed rate, payable upon exit and calculated based on the length of your stay. The rate starts at $35 for 0 to 3 hours and goes up to $70 for a full day of 12 to 24 hours.

0 - 3hrs: $35
3hrs - 6hrs: $40
6hrs - 9hrs: $45
9hrs - 12hrs: $50
12hrs - 24hrs: $70
Each additional 12hrs: $35

Event special rate : $45

Bus: $50 for one entry/exit (valid for 12 hours, subject to availability).

Lost tickets: $70

Vehicles with trailers or motorized caravans are prohibited on the site.

Parking lots are accessible 24/7.

Both parking lots remain open and accessible 24 hours a day, every day of the year, day and night, regardless of the season.

Ticket available for one entry/sortie.

Reduced mobility

28 parking spaces for permit holders spread across our two parkings.
To ensure accessibility to our parking lots, holders of a permit for people with mobility impairment can exit without having to pay parking fees by contacting our team using the assistance button at the exit.

Monthly passes

For regular parking, you can reserve a monthly pass instead of paying the exit rate on each visit. The monthly rate varies by season and is more advantageous during the winter season.

Looking for a different way to arrive? Take the river shuttle to the Old Port—a unique way to start your visit.

The river shuttle service, financed and organized by the MTMD and the ARTM, is operated by Croisières Navark Inc. (Navark) and Les Navettes Maritimes du St-Laurent Inc. (AML).

From the Old Port, the shuttles serve:

At the 4 electric vehicle charging stations at King-Edward Quay, enjoy the first four hours of charging free, then $2 per additional hour.

Cash is not accepted at any parking lot.

The Old Port parking lots are open and accessible 24 hours a day, every day of the year. The site itself is open from 6 a.m. to midnight.

No reservation is required for daily parking. To park every day, you can reserve a monthly pass by completing the contract by email or directly online on our sales site.
