Event Description Form

The Event description form allows us to gather important details about your event in order to ensure its success. Please complete and save this form before emailing it back to your event advisor at least 30 days prior to your event. Any delays in sending this form may impact the service quality and even incure the cancellation of the event without reimbursement of the deposit.

This form will be sent to you together with your rental contract.

Application for alcohol permits

The Montreal Science Centre does not have an alcohol permit. You must therefore obtain a permit from the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec to consume or sell alcohol at your event. Applications must be submitted to the RACJQ at least two weeks prior to your event.

It is important to make sure that the permit is displayed in full view during your event.

Exclusive sponsors and product lists

When you hold your event at the Old Port of Montreal and Montreal Science Centre, you must use the products and serving sizes of the Old Port’s exclusive sponsors, namely Eska products for natural and carbonated bottled water; Coca-Cola for soft drinks, juices and fruit beverages, iced teas, herb-infused beverages, isotonic beverages and vitamin water; and Sleeman for brewery products. You must also ensure that your caterer uses only these products.
