Lots of options at the Old Port for a Spring Break family outing

Montreal, February 22, 2018 – Once again this year, Spring Break is a great time to enjoy what’s on offer at the Old Port. With both indoor and outdoor activities, families have options whatever the weather in an enchanting setting, steps away from downtown.

Science Centre Spring Break Promo

In what has now become a tradition, the Montreal Science Centre is offering a special promotion for Spring Break: visit all the exhibitions and watch a movie at the TELUS IMAX Theater for just $20. Take advantage of this offer to visit Indigenous Ingenuity, an exhibition celebrating the inventiveness of North America’s First Peoples, and to see Tiny Giants 3D, a great big film about little heroes, produced by BBC Earth.

Last chance for the Natrel Skating Rink

There are just a few days left to enjoy the refrigerated surface at the Natrel rink and its themed evenings: Workouts on Ice, Hot Rhythms on Ice and DJ on Ice. No skates? No problem! Patin Patin offers rentals as well as lessons for those who want to improve their technique.

Bota Bota open to children during the break

From March 5 to 9, enjoy the water circuit with your children aged 8 and over or adapted massages and introductory workshops on meditation and yoga. For adults, the spa-on-water will be open during the Nuit Blanche all-nighter on March 3 with a special edition of Drift Away after Dark until 2:30 a.m.

Families reaching for the heights

The Montreal Observation Wheel is a spectacular family destination with its heated cabins and superb views of Montreal and the St. Lawrence River. And for the second year in a row, brave souls seeking an adrenaline rush can test their mettle at MTL Zipline.
